Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had a scoop of Gianduia and Matcha. Also got one of the dark chocolate and sea salt caramels. They both were absolutely amazing. Had only had gelato that was in the freezer section of a grocery store before this trip. It was a truly fantastic experience. I enjoyed every bit of it. I wanted to take a photo to go with the review, but I got too excited and ate the gelato before I could. The atmosphere was great, and they have enough space where they don't feel overwhelmingly busy. Definitely will be back again!!!

Staff felt a bit aloof but maybe itβs because it was an hour before closing and near the end of their shift. BUT OMG THE GELATO IS DELICIOUS like genuinely the best Iβve had in Texas. The mascarpone and fig tastes equivalent to one of the higher rated gelato places I frequented in Barcelona. You canβt go wrong with any flavor choice here!

I am not sure if there is an ice cream more delicious in Dallas than this one, but I highly recommend this one! The shop is wonderful, very clean, the sweets are amazing, and the ice cream flavor is out of this world. The cones are crispy, fresh, and made in-house. The staff is gentle and professional. It was a pleasure to be there. I will return for sure!!! Thanks!

We had "Better than Nutella" sundae. The icecream was delicious, the cream on top was hand-made and delicious. The staff were so respectful and passionate they give people as much as flavor test they needed. The environment was so peaceful. I just reduce one star because the ice cream and cream both were not cold enough and it was running and also I did not like the bottom Nila cookie layer, I don't think it is a good match! But overall very good experience.

On a hot summer day in Plano, Botolino Gelato was exactly what I needed. I ordered the coffee affogato and WOWβwhat a treat! The espresso was rich and bold, poured hot over their creamy gelato, creating the perfect contrast of warm and cold. Topped with crunchy chocolate bits, it was pure decadence in a glass. The interior is modern and cheerful with beautiful tile details and a welcoming vibe. You can tell they put care into every detailβfrom presentation to flavor. Their dessert display alone is worth the visitβmini works of art behind glass. Whether youβre a gelato purist or just need a mid-day pick-me-up, Botolino hits the sweet spot. Highly recommend!
